Hi there!! Well, as most of you know, I left full time teaching last July 2009, after many years in the field full time. I’ve had quite an interesting road since then. I had the time to explore my own musical adventures, and have learned ALOT!! I am continuing on the path I am currently on, but I also feel my life is now in a position where I can take on a limited class load. I am once again offering weekly music lessons for kids only, ages 6-13, in guitar, piano and voice. Lessons will be scheduled on a week to week basis, to find a time that matches both our schedules.   This should be relatively easy to do, seeing my class load will be very small.  I also teach EVERY OTHER FRIDAY in West Allis, WI at UNCLE BOBS MUSIC STORE.  I have a few openings left there, but not many.  Lessons are $20 per 30 minutes both at my Cedarburg Studio and Uncle Bobs Music Store.  In rare occasions, I will travel to your home for $25 for 30 minutes, although I prefer to stay at my Cedarburg Studio.  So please feel free to contact me, if you are interested in resuming lessons, or if your child would be a new student.

I also hold a SONGWRITING WORKSHOPS FOR KIDS - 1 Saturday per month, for a 2 hour time slot.  {2-4 kids max}  Please look on my SONGWRITING WORKSHOPS FOR KIDS page for more information.  This is a fun, creative, complementary educational format for the student already involved in weekly lessons with another teacher. Hi Everyone!  I will be holding a continuation of KWE Songwriting Workshop for Kids on Saturday, November 21st, 2009, Noon-2pm. We will be studying further blues chords, song structure and improv. We will work on each student’s song ideas, and do some recording for those ready with their Blues Song from earlier sessions. 

All instruments welcome, and my instruments [keyboards, guitars, percussion] will be available for use, as well as recording studio. NEW participants completely welcome to begin their project. The workshop fee is $30, and all materials are provided. Please contact Jennifer at dekorah@me.com for more information and to reserve a spot. Ages 9 to 14. [Some exceptions may apply]
